Visiting The Greenhouse

The Greenhouse is a detached garage loft in a quiet Sun Prairie neighborhood, set aside entirely for prayer. Here's everything you need to know before you come.

Where it is

In Sun Prairie, WI

The room is in a suburban neighborhood in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. To protect the space and the family who host it, we share the exact address privately.

📩 After you book a slot, we'll email you the exact address, a link for turn-by-turn directions, and the door combination code. Everything you need arrives in that message.

Getting in

How access works

  1. Come to the back door of the detached garage.
  2. Open the deadbolt using the combination code we email you when you book.
  3. Inside, climb the steep stairs (more like an attic ladder) up to the loft.
  4. At the top there's a door you can lock from the inside with the key, so the room is yours and secure for your hour.

Please keep the code to yourself, and make sure the garage is locked again when you leave.

Inside the room

What to expect

Walls made for prayer

The walls are covered in brown paper — write, draw, or paint your prayers right onto them, or leave one on a sticky note. Markers and pens are provided.

A floor of grass

The floor is artificial grass — a nod to the garden where God first met his people, and to the growth we hope for here.

Simple comfort

Comfortable chairs, and prayer stations that may be set up to gently guide your time. There are no windows, so the room stays quiet and private.

Tea, coffee & water

A mini fridge with cold water, a kettle and tea, and a Keurig for coffee — with mugs and a bin for the ones you use. Help yourself.

Set your own climate

There is an AC/heat unit — please leave it where it is, but set it to whatever temperature feels comfortable for you.

Private and secure

The door at the top of the stairs locks from the inside with a key, so the room is entirely yours for your hour.

For a great experience

A few gentle guidelines

  • Come as you are — there is nothing to prepare and no “right” way to pray.
  • The hour is yours: sit in silence, read, write on the walls, play music quietly, or simply rest.
  • Please leave the space as you found it — tidy your mugs into the bin and take any trash with you.
  • Honor the next person’s hour by finishing on time and locking up as instructed.
  • Treat the room, and everyone who prays here, with gentleness and respect.
  • If anything is wrong (a spill, something broken, supplies run low), let us know via the contact form.
